What BUNS does on pump.fun, what the systems are, and what happens when you sign.

Overview

BUNS is a direct launch interface for pump.fun on Solana. It bundles a coin launch with a configurable economic system (a Cash Rebase built to pay stakers in USDC once the rebase program is live, a full OHM fork, a Miner economy, Tomb later), so the coin and the machine behind it go live from one review screen and one signature from the creator wallet. The coin launches on pump.fun. The system runs on Solana, as BUNS programs attached to that coin. The creator fee is the bridge: pump.fun pays it on every trade into the coin's creator vault, and pump.fun's Creator Fee Sharing routes the creator's share into the system's treasury program.

pump.fun charges a creator fee on every trade, on the curve and after graduation into PumpSwap, and pays it into a creator vault. BUNS writes the family cut into that vault's fee sharing split at launch: 9000 bps to the creator or the creator's system treasury, 1000 bps to the Buns Family vault. Once the BUNS deployer is live, the family vault feeds $BUNS holders.

Where each part runs

pump.fun is a memecoin launchpad: it creates the coin and sells it on a bonding curve. It does not host a protocol. Everything that makes a system a system runs on Solana as BUNS programs that hold the coin and receive its creator fee.

pump.fun

  • The coin: an SPL mint, 1,000,000,000 at 6 decimals.
  • The bonding curve and its fair price.
  • Graduation into PumpSwap with the LP burned.
  • The creator fee on every trade.
  • The Creator Fee Sharing config, 9000 / 1000 bps.

Solana, BUNS programs Pending

  • The system treasury that receives the creator share.
  • Staking of the coin.
  • The OHM fork's rebase and bonds.
  • The Miner's tiles and epochs.
  • The Cash Rebase epoch swap to USDC through Jupiter and the pro rata payout.
  • The Buns Family vault and the daily epoch for $BUNS holders.

Why pump.fun

  • A standard SPL token. Any Solana program can hold it, stake it, bond against it or pay its holders. pump.fun creates the token and sells it on a fair curve; it does not need to host the protocol for the protocol to work.
  • What a protocol cannot build on day one. A fair launch curve with one price for everyone, graduation into PumpSwap with the LP burned, the trading audience, and a creator fee on every trade paid out by the venue itself.
  • Fee mechanics, not a token tax. pump.fun's Creator Fee Sharing splits that fee stream by basis points at launch, so the system treasury is funded by the venue's own fee mechanics instead of a tax written into the token.
  • What pump.fun does not do. It does not run staking, rebases, bonds, treasuries, miner tiles or USDC payouts. Those are BUNS programs on Solana, not deployed yet. What the system holds is the pump.fun coin; what feeds it is the pump.fun creator fee.

Getting started

1. The coin

Open the BUNS app. Give the coin a name, a ticker of up to 10 characters, an optional one-line description and a logo. Square images work best; skip the upload and the coin carries the BUNS burger.

2. The system

Choose Direct launch on pump.fun, Cash Rebase, the Ponzi / OHM full fork, or Miner. Systems with configuration expose their dials on the card: treasury share, cash split (the share of each epoch paid in USDC) and stake lock for Cash Rebase; staking rate, bond discount and treasury share for the OHM fork; daily reward rate and referral bonus for Miner. Tomb is marked Soon.

3. The creator wallet

Connect Phantom, Solflare or Backpack, or make a burner key in the browser to walk the flow. The wallet you connect is the creator wallet, and it is the wallet that signs.

4. The starting buy

Optionally set a starting buy in SOL. Once the BUNS deployer is live, it executes in the same create transaction on pump.fun, and the standard trade fee applies to the dev buy.

5. Review and sign

Everything you configured sits on one review screen. Signing produces a launch manifest signed by the creator wallet; the manifest then shows on your dashboard as queued for pump.fun. Nothing is created on chain yet: the pump.fun create_v2 transaction and the fee sharing config run once the BUNS deployer is live.

Systems

Direct launch on pump.fun

The coin alone on pump.fun. No system is attached; the creator's 9000 bps of the fee sharing split go straight to the creator wallet.

Cash Rebase

Runs on Solana as a BUNS program. A rebase that pays in cash: once the rebase program is live, the creator's fee share is swapped to USDC every daily epoch and paid to the coin's stakers. Its own chapter, Cash Rebase, covers the mechanism and the dials.

Ponzi / OHM full fork

Runs on Solana as a BUNS program. A treasury takes the configured share of the creator's split and runs the classic loop: staking with a rebase rate, discounted bonds that grow protocol-owned liquidity, and buybacks when the treasury is deep enough. Staking rate, bond discount and treasury share are set at launch.

Miner

Runs on Solana as a BUNS program. A 25-tile miner economy. Holders stake into tiles, tiles emit rewards on epochs, and compounding is automated. Daily reward rate and referral bonus are set at launch.

Tomb / Seigniorage

Soon. An emissions system built on epochs, pegs, shares and bonds.

Cash Rebase

Cash Rebase is an economic system a creator attaches to a pump.fun launch through BUNS. It pays the coin's stakers in cash, meaning USDC, out of the coin's own creator fee. The coin's supply does not inflate: nothing is minted to pay stakers.

The mechanism

  • Fee in. pump.fun charges its creator fee on every trade, on the curve and after graduation into PumpSwap. The creator's 9000 bps side of the fee sharing split is routed to the coin's rebase treasury, scaled by the treasury share.
  • Epoch swap. Once the rebase program is live, every daily epoch the treasury swaps the SOL it collected into USDC through Jupiter, Solana's swap aggregator.
  • Cash rebase. The cash split of that USDC is paid to the wallets staking the coin, pro rata to stake. The rest stays in the treasury as protocol-owned liquidity.
  • The family cut. The 1000 bps side to the Buns Family vault is unchanged and still pays $BUNS holders in SOL and buybacks.

The dials

  • Treasury share, 50 to 100 percent, default 100: how much of the creator's fee side goes to the rebase treasury. The rest goes to the creator wallet.
  • Cash split, 30 to 100 percent, default 70: how much of each epoch is paid out as USDC. The rest stays as protocol-owned liquidity.
  • Stake lock, 0 to 7 days, default 0: how long a stake stays locked before it can leave.
  • Epoch: fixed, daily.

The dials are written into the launch manifest as system cash-rebase with config treasuryShare, cashSplit, stakeLockDays, epoch and payoutMint. The payout mint is USDC on Solana, EPjFWdd5AufqSSqeM2qN1xzybapC8G4wEGGkZwyTDt1v, 6 decimals.

What the payout depends on

The USDC paid in an epoch is the coin's traded volume times pump.fun's creator fee, times the treasury share, times the cash split. pump.fun's creator fee scales with the coin's market cap, so the same volume can pay more or less as the coin grows. A quiet coin pays little, and an epoch can pay nothing. The calculator on the Cash Rebase section runs this arithmetic on numbers you type; it is not a forecast.

Status and what will be public

The Cash Rebase program is not deployed. Today the app configures it and the creator wallet signs those settings into the launch manifest; no treasury, swap or payout runs yet. Once the rebase program is live, its program address, each coin's treasury account, every epoch swap and every payout will be public on chain and readable on Solscan, and the program address will be published under Programs and addresses.

pump.fun facts

These are properties of pump.fun itself, read from its public program documentation. BUNS does not change them.

  • The curve. A pump.fun coin is tradeable from the moment it is created on a bonding curve with no seeded liquidity. The curve prices trades Uniswap V2 style on virtual reserves.
  • Supply. 1,000,000,000 coins, 6 decimals, 793,100,000 on the curve. The rest seeds the pool at graduation.
  • Creator fee. pump.fun's creator fee scales with the coin's market cap. It is set by a tier table held on chain, so there is no single flat percent to quote.
  • Creator vault. Every trade sends the creator fee to a creator vault tied to the coin's creator, on the curve and after graduation.
  • Fee sharing. pump.fun's Creator Fee Sharing lets that vault be split across shareholders by basis points. Distribution of the vault is permissionless.
  • Graduation. When the curve fills, liquidity moves to PumpSwap and the LP tokens are burned. The coin keeps trading there, and the creator fee keeps flowing to the vault.
  • The pump suffix. pump.fun mints end in pump, so a coin's address tells you where it was born.

Fees

Traders pay pump.fun's fees, set by pump.fun. BUNS adds no trading fee of its own. What BUNS routes is the creator vault: at launch the coin's creator fee sharing config is written with two shareholders.

  • 9000 bps to the creator wallet on a direct launch, or to the system treasury when a system is attached (the OHM fork's treasury share then splits the creator's portion between treasury and wallet).
  • 1000 bps to the Buns Family vault.

The split is shown on the review screen and is part of the signed manifest. Because pump.fun's creator fee scales with market cap, the family cut does too.

$BUNS holders and the Crusting

$BUNS is the flagship coin of BUNS. $BUNS launches on pump.fun on Solana as a fair launch: no presale, no team allocation before the curve, one price for everyone on the curve. Until the mint is published on this site, there is no $BUNS. Once the deployer is live, two streams will route value from every launch back to the wallets holding it, both weighted by how long a wallet has held.

The family cut

Every daily epoch the Buns Family vault will be divided in two: half will market buy $BUNS, half will be airdropped to $BUNS holders in SOL, pro rata to crust weight at the snapshot.

Launch airdrops

1 percent of every launched supply will be airdropped to $BUNS holders when the launch settles, weighted by the same snapshot. Holding $BUNS will mean holding a slice of every coin that comes out of the oven.

The Crusting

A wallet's weight is its $BUNS balance multiplied by a tier that depends on days held without selling.

  • Dough, day 0 to 2: 1.0x.
  • Baked, day 3 to 6: 1.5x.
  • Golden Crust, day 7 and up: 2.0x.

The clock starts when the wallet starts holding $BUNS and counts days without a sell or a transfer out. Buying more never resets it. Any sell or transfer out resets the wallet to Dough. Nothing to stake, nothing to claim. The crust meter on The Crusting applies exactly this rule.

The Oven board

The Oven board is a live board of pump.fun coins, so the page shows the venue moving before BUNS has issued anything.

  • Source. DexScreener's open API at api.dexscreener.com: the boosted list and the latest token profiles, filtered to Solana mints ending in pump.
  • Build. For each mint the deepest pool is kept, either the pump.fun curve or the PumpSwap pool after graduation. Rows are ranked on 24 hour volume and the top ten are shown.
  • Refresh. Every minute, paused while the tab is hidden. When a read fails the last numbers stay on screen and the board retries with growing pauses.
  • What it is not. Boosted means promoted, never vetted. The board is a window on the venue, not a list of picks and not advice. Volume proves nothing about safety.

Snapshots

Each daily epoch will take a snapshot of $BUNS balances and crust tiers at a random slot inside the epoch, so there is no fixed moment to game. The snapshot weights both the SOL airdrop and any launch airdrops that settle in that epoch. Once the epoch keeper is live, buybacks execute on chain and airdrops land directly in the wallet; there is nothing to claim.

Security

BUNS never holds keys and never signs on your behalf. The app asks an injected wallet for signMessage only: it never requests a transaction signature. A burner key is made with WebCrypto in your browser and never leaves it.

The signed message is the text BUNS launch on pump.fun followed by the manifest as JSON: version, venue, chain, the coin (name, ticker, description, whether a logo was uploaded), the system and its configuration, the fee sharing split (9000 / 1000 bps), the starting buy in SOL, the creator address and a timestamp. What you see on the review screen is what gets signed.

The BUNS deployer, which runs pump.fun's create_v2 and writes the fee sharing config, is not live. Signed manifests stay in your browser, queued, until it is.

Wallets

The app looks for Phantom, then Solflare, then Backpack, then any wallet that exposes the standard Solana provider. Connect, review and sign happen in the wallet's own window. To walk the flow without an extension, make a burner key on the wallet step; burner launches are marked as such on the dashboard. A browser that cannot make Ed25519 keys says so and asks for a wallet instead.

Risk

Memecoins are volatile and can go to zero. Prices on the curve and in PumpSwap pools swing hard, and pools can drain. No external audit covers BUNS, and no BUNS program is deployed yet. Only put in what you can lose. Nothing on this site is financial advice. Read the Terms.

Verify it on chain

Check the programs yourself on Solscan: the Pump program and the PumpSwap program. Once the $BUNS mint is issued it is published here, and its supply, decimals and pool can be read the same way.
